I do know it’s kinda sorta dishonest, however I wished to share one other photograph (or two) of the latest Floret design workshop for this week’s Seasonal Flower Alliance put up. This dreamy tablescape was simply too lovely to restrict to only one week! The compotes that line the middle of the desk have been loaded with dahlias, lisianthus, scabiosa-flowered zinnias, autumn blooming clematis, fruiting branches and different seasonal goodies that the workshop members harvested from our farm. I’ve been scrolling via the most recent batch of Seasonal Floral Alliance posts over on Instagram. With greater than 10,000 photographs now hashtagged, it’s a veritable feast for the flower-lover’s eyes! Every week I wish to scan the posts in search of patterns. It’s superb what number of seem completely organically. Typically the submissions are dominated by specific flowers, like dahlias. This previous week, some completely different themes popped out at me.

I typically see this at my workshops—members will make a bouquet with flowers that complement the colour of their shirt.
